The Columbia Student Investment Management Association (CSIMA) and The Hedge Fund Association (HFA) are pleased to invite you to a lecture on Autonomous Learning Investment Strategies. During his talk, Michael Oliver Weinberg, CFA, Adjunct Professor of Finance and Economics at Columbia Business School, and Chief Investment Officer of MOV37 and Protege Partners, will address the following questions:

  • What are Autonomous Learning Investment Strategies (ALIS)? 
  • How will ALIS impact investment management?
  • Can value investors employ ALIS?

Keith Novick, HFA's Academic Committee Chairman and a Financial Advisor at Stone Edge Consultancy LLC, will also make brief remarks regarding career opportunities in hedge funds and participate in a Questions and Answers session covering ALIS, hedge funds, seeding and career-related queries. A casual lunch will be served.
